GREENBELT, Md. -- A federal judge in Maryland has ordered a wind-power developer to suspend work on a West Virginia project, citing potential harm to the federally endangered Indiana bat.
U.S. District Judge Roger Titus issued the opinion Tuesday in Greenbelt, Md.
The order is a victory for environmental groups that claimed the 119-turbine Beech Ridge project in Greenbrier County, W.Va., violates the federal Endangered Species Act.
Titus ordered Beech Ridge Energy LLC, of Rockville, and its Chicago-based parent, Invenergy LLC, to stop building turbines until it gets a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to kill the migrating bats.
The judge also barred the company from operating any of the 40 existing turbines between April 1 and Nov. 15, when the bats are migrating.

Bats are citizens and should be given the right to vote.
Acorn will help organize them.

The thing that really gets me is that all living plants need the very carbon dioxide that we're trying to get rid of. As a matter of fact, every greenhouse uses Carbon Dioxide Generators.
This one for home use for instance:
Carbon Dioxide (Co2) is one of the easiest ways to accelerate plant growth. Plants grown with supplemental Co2 can produce up to 40% more flowers or fruit. A propane or natural gas Co2 generator is the most cost effective way to add Co2 to your environment. Many greenhouses use Co2 generators to boost carbon dioxide levels safely and economically.C.A.P. has developed some of the safest and most reliable Co2 generators. They are capable of producing between 3 and 26 cubic feet of carbon dioxide per hour. C.A.P. manufactures 2 models, the GEN-1 and the GEN-2.

Supplementation of CO2 is increasingly popular as a method of increasing the agricultural production from greenhouses. The advantages are not simply restricted to more and larger fruits, but the plants will also grow more quickly. In this way it is possible to be the first to bring local produce to market, which will always ensure the best price for the farmer. Conventional supplementation systems are also popular in countries where heating of greenhouses either not necessary or not generally practiced. In our latitudes there is simply no alternative to a certain degree of heating to ensure the survival of the less hardy plants in winter. Especially now, when imported fruit and vegetables are on sale earlier and cheaper than ever before, the local producers must find a way to also bring their material to market earlier and at a lower cost.

Now we have a nation full of American fools running around worried about NOTHING? God help us...

Maybe they should start building windmills on the reclaimed mountain top removal sites.
