Music is all wrong. It should have been sounded more like this:

I give it 6 months. Though I found it strangely touching, in a weird hillbilly kind of way.

My family would have had me committed---not to even mention the whole dancing to pop music in a church. The whole community would have shunned me.

They were on the Today show this morning recreating the dance live on their outdoor stage. Okay, I thought it was cute. But what does it say about "lowest common denominator" entertainment when this makes them famous? I guess the good news is, it sure makes a lot of the dumb stunts we do on morning shows look a lot better.

I prefer the traditional Logan county wedding.
Where the drunk, nervous groom vomits on the pregnant bride.
Then the shooting starts.

Re: Now this is a wedding...
I can see where somebody would find it disrepectful. If you're marrying in a church and you're a believer, marriage is a solemn ceremony, a holy sacrament. Now as soon as the "I do's " are said, it's a celebration and more upbeat activity is appropriate.
If you're just a bunch of frat boys and sorority girls who are just getting married in the church to make mom and dad happy, it's cool.
But hey, it's their wedding, let 'em do what they want. Might not be for me or others, but I wasn't the one getting married.
Next time I get married I want Jay to dance me down the aisle.

Nah, let them have "their day".
Not everyone is the same.
I've seen "worse" than that during actual Sunday services.

Gen,
Still a ward of the state. If I could figure out how to make the mappy things behind me change without looking at the monitor on the side I might give tv weather a try.
Watch the "divorce dance". It is freakin' hilarious. I'm planning a similar one for my upcoming "un-marriage". Wonder if I can get my wife's new boyfriend to dance in it?
