Finn named WVPB news director
Former Charleston Gazette reporter Scott Finn has been named the news and public affairs director for West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Former Charleston Gazette reporter Scott Finn has been named the news and public affairs director for West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
Finn began working as a reporter/producer for WVPB in January 2007, covering state government and politics.
Previously, he worked for the Gazette covering politics, government and business. He won several national journalism awards during his time at the Gazette.
Before that, the Iowa native founded a family literacy program called Appalread in Logan and spent two years as a VISTA volunteer in Big Ugly.
