Jealousy? Really? I left radio voluntarily, of my own volition. And, after an incredible book. I just got tired of it. And that's the best comeback you can come up with? Honestly.....you really do come across as an ass. I've not heard good things about you, and I speak with people in the building. I was checking this site just to see what was up in WV. Charleston radio always had a good vibe, a good sense of community. There's a term in A Purpose Driven Life, - ERG people, extra grace required. You may be one of those individuals. So trust me Nick, no jeolousy from this side. Distrust, disgust, yeah, maybe. But not jealousy. I spend my days writing, playing music, pursuing more erudite activities. I honestly don't even miss radio. Sure, I do a shift occasionally for the hell of it and have been repeatedly offered gigs that I turn down, including a talk-show that I understand that you are truly craving. But, I've lost the desire to be the center of attention. Maybe not "lost", but grown away from. Maturity and a sense of humor may be something you want to invest in for your future. Its really more satisfying than inviting people to come and kick you ass, even if it is in a bar where you are surrounded by goons/bouncers.

I agree with Arp...lots of decision makers read this and other boards...that also goes with Facebook and Myspace...a collegue was fired from CC back in the day for blogging about his job, another let go from an internship for a Facebook comment, and another turned down for a job because of a sketchy Myspace page.

There isn't anyone on this board that gives a crap about what other radio people think of them...maybe Daveinthemorning, but ya know...this industry is full of two types of people...the ones that actually give a crap about the listeners, and the rest (which grossly out numbers the former) do things to get props from other industry type. I've been both types...so ya know.

So I'll pass this advice on to you dude...sign out, and play some Halo or watch the Marshall game on ESPN...then, come back tomorrow with a clear head and make some smart ass light hearted comment in the prep board about some photo Jerry posted. That, and leave Uncle Lester and Arp alone...they're the fathers of this fine message board that I have learned from since 2001.

Nothing out of the norm. But one thing I can say about my co workers at BB. I know that they would do anything for me if I needed it. And they know that I am a phone call away if any of them needed anything. So that doesn't bother me. The whole talk show thing. My Political site gets about 50,000 hits a week. I brought up and idea to my GM for a talk show on the AM. He liked the idea and told me to ask the PD of the AM. And that's were I will leave this story.

Drank a a whole bottle in a day! Then, i noticed that each glass contained the equiv of 1 serving of vegetables.. I drank in one day more veggies than I've had in 3 months. So, appropriately enough, my body rejected these intruders. Violently.

I just can't imagine those things tasting good. I've actually been trying to eat real fruits and vegetables...kinda hard, though, on top of my RDA of salty snacks and candy treats. And lunch meats.

There's a nutritional supplement (a pill) I've taken that's supposedly the nutrients and phytonutrients of 45 vegetables and fruits ( http://www.riteaid.com/stores/weekly_ad ... egion=west )....I have no idea if it's really of any value, but it's interesting and might be a place to start chemically adapting your body for future "experiments" ....it's on sale at RiteAid a couple of times a year.

I just ate an apple, took a shower, and feel better. While eating the apple, though, I bit my lower lip, making it stick out a little bit. I then bit it again and put a top hole and a bottom hole in it. I then bit it a third time and made it swell up pretty good. Great.

I just bite...there's your proof positive right there.
