Are there ANY ESPN affiliates in northern West Virginia?

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Are there ANY ESPN affiliates in northern West Virginia?

Post by Greg Goodfellow »

While running an errand to West Virginia's northern panhandle last evening for number 2 daughter, I was able to hear some pregame coverage of the Pirates-Reds game on 93.7 out of Pittsburgh. However, upon returning home, we were frantically trying to find an ESPN radio station. We finally happened upon WLW, which gave us a mostly strong signal home. Really...why ISN'T there an AM station in northern West Virginia on ESPN? We have a 24-hour comedy station in Wheeling...seriously. A former ESPN station, WOMP-FM was running some form of oldies. Once again, thanks to WLW!
