"Decisonmakers" For Sunday 05-15

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

"Decisonmakers" For Sunday 05-15

Post by Scott Reppert »

WBOY. Approximately 8:25am this morning. "Decisionmakers".

Looked like it was shot in a cave with wax paper over the camera lens and an insecticide fogger going off nearby.

For those of you that have ever wondered about my descriptions between the picture quality between WDTV and WBOY, this morning was the epitome of it...

I believe he presold it by saying that 'we'd be hearing from the winners and losers,' then all we get is the rep for Tomblin. This show could be FAR, FAR better. Cary has been doing this for several years, yet has not progressed one IOTA. As to picture/audio quality, I STILL get cheesed seeing WTRF fall so far under this man's 'leadership.' It ONCE was the undisputed market leader, but not for the past 30-odd years. With three of the top networks under his belt, we still get this result. I could go on and on, but you get the drift. Compared to little 'ol WDTV (when we still could get it), it comes up far short. Dark as a dungeon at times, and the sound is all over the place. It reminds me of our in-school TV broadcast at times...especially when the equipment goes south.

That pretty much describes every WTRF newscast (with the sound being broadcast via tin can and string).

Much better this morning.

Rich Rodriguez was the guest.

Should have asked him about blowing chow for two days after his tonsils were taken out, much to the upsetting of a future radio personality type...

Holgorsen was ejected from Cross Lanes Casino, drunk and disorderly.
Rich-Rod smells redemption?

As I have stated previously: Dana Holgorson signals the beginning of the end of the "glory years" of Mountaineer football. Those 1-2 good years that he will have will not be worth what will happen...mostly off the field...after them.

This incident indicates the type of person that he truly is and is a spark of the flame that is burning on the horizon.

Dana Holgorson is the usher with the flashlight in hand leading WVU to the theater seat of national disgrace...

Rumor has it Holgorson had a very similar incident at the Wheeling casino earlier, but it was covered up and didn't make the media.

The Daily Mail is catching a lot of heat for running the news of the latest incident...

Wow...wonder if even listening to the oldies group "The Casinos" would set him off?
