Nascar cup race, Dover

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Nascar cup race, Dover

Post by genlock »

Napcar race, stands look 1/2 to 3/4 full. Maybe less.
Speedway has huge advertising banners covering vast empty areas of seats.
TV is trying to not show empties.

Napcar.

NASCAR="Non-Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks".

Danny Cater could figure his slugging percentage while running to first base. These guys drive in circles...

The problem with NASCAR is you can tune in at lap 1 of 200, get in the car, drive to the movie theater, watch Titanic, go to Outback, wait an hour and forty-five minutes on a table, eat dinner, drive home, and still tune in to watch the checkered flag.

Even joking about watching that abomination is a man card violation.

Again, Mr. Nunley gets an "Amen!".

I had never seen it and was on vacation in Canada shortly after it's theatrical run had ended. It was on the "free" movie channel in the hotel.

What a piece of garbage! I lasted fifteen minutes, at most...

I was forced to endure that shit at the Keith. What a deplorable nightmare. I had to get up about 50 times because of ass-numbness.

I endured it so you should have to suffer the pain as well. Fair is fair.
