Roten over-the-edge threat level heightened this morning

From what I heard this morning Roten was going to do a 2 hour sermon in preparation for a guest he had coming on in the 8 AM hour. There was a 5 minute break just before 8 when Marshall's Frank Giardina was on in his normal time slot. The guest was involved with a documentary being shown at the Keith-Albee today concerning a town in Kentucky that apparently used prayer to clean up the town, get rid of drug dealers/users, etc.

As a Christian (albeit a politically liberal one) I don't mean to make fun of Roten's beliefs; however he was basically preaching this morning and I don't think that fits the type of talk show he's supposed to be doing.

Without Swann there to counter Roten's rants... well, I think "when the cat's away, the mice will play" applies perfectly.

I heard only the first 30 seconds of his program this morning. By his own admission, he was LITERALLY SCREAMING. It was painful to listen to....and so I did not. If I were an advertiser on his show, I'd have canceled at once. As good people have gone out the door over and over again at that blue box, it is a mystery to me why this ranting buffoon is still there. He was once a great sales person, but he no longer sells, or so he says. I cannot believe his program is even marginally profitable, and the other stuff he does can easily be done from the so-called newshub. Quite frankly, I don't see what value he adds at the Huntington cluster.
