LOGAN -- People constructing a new state office building in downtown Logan uncovered what may be human bones.

Workers made the discovery Monday morning.

The state Medical Examiners Office collected the bones.

The bones will be examined to determine if they are in fact human remains.

Hooves, horns, beaks and prehensile tail could possibly rule out some local residents.

Just some leftover chicken bones from Nunley's lunch. If not and they are indeed human bones they will be allowed to vote in the next election.

But they have been....just like me and anyone else who has ever been in the Logan or Williamson phone books. At least in Wmsn. I vote in both partys!

LOGAN -- UPDATE: 2 p.m., Feb. 3, 2011

The Medical Examiner's Office has told the Logan Police Chief that the bones were from a Native American.

Diane Holley-Brown, with the West Virginia Department of Administration, said construction has been halted and from the state's standpoint, the construction is at a standstill until the Medical Examiner's office and law enforcement leading the investigation say construction could continue.

This could get interesting. Either the bones will hold up the project whereby costing twice as much to build.

Or... construction on an old Indian burial site could wind-up being the new Mothman and the movie that would follow. Chief Logan would play the lead of course, but the plot would have to differ greatly from "Poltergeist".

The entire project is on hold now while we decide if Geronimo's cousin, Chief Squatting Bull's, carcass is there. Give me a fucking break. Only in America. I don't care if its my grandmother's bones out there.....throw them away and move on with the building.
