NITRO, W.Va. -- A Nitro man shot a woman delivering Chinese food to an apartment near his residence Friday, police said.
Arthur Jackson Byrd III, 33, is charged with malicious wounding after he allegedly shot the woman in the back of her head with a 12-gauge shotgun around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court, the victim, Min Lin, was delivering food to an apartment on the 1200 block of Main Avenue near Byrd's when she was shot.
A news release from the Nitro Police Department said Lin was shot in the back of the head. "She refused to be medically transported by paramedics, despite bleeding from the head."

Sad, too. She's mostly likely Asian, which means she'll get deported with extreme prejudice. If she were Mexican, they'd give her free health care, stitch her up, and give her a ride back home.
