Bob Valvano is now on the morning show on Mad Dog Radio (XM144). He was talking yesterday morning about the new toilets in the University of Louisville's new basketball arena the KFC Yum! Center. The toilets are capable of both a high water volume flush and a low water volume flush. He didn't give the instructions verbatim, but from he said apparently the signs over the toilets say something like that if you only did 'number 1', then pull the handle up for a low water volume flush. Otherwise, push the handle down for more water in the flush.
In my experience, toilets that don't flush automatically aren't flushed manually a lot of the time. That saves water in itself, doesn't it?
