Huntington Ratings

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Huntington Ratings

Anyone know where to find the full picture? The two places I've found Spring 10 numbers, the Kindred cluster is left out because apparently, they don't subscribe to Arbitron.

I'd imagine it's being done this way because Clear Channel's stations suck, and they do, except for 800, which is sucking because of the stupid idea of taking 1230 WIRO "The BIG I" away (which loses them the most affluent zip codes in the Tri State).

Radio is a business. If you really think the only Clear Channel station in the Tri-State area that doesn't suck is WVHU, it probably has something to do with its general agreement with your ideology, and your age group. Most younguns don't listen to AM/FM or even satellite radio, yet a great deal of money is still being made by the FM cluster, for now...

Sad thing is the two music stations I like best on the local radio are both AM. 1080 and 1520.

Kinda going full circle, I first discovered music (and radio) on AM back in the 1970's with my Snoopy AM radio :)

WIRO, WCMI, WGNT, WIOI, WGOH, etc...
