Widescreen?

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

WSAZ does squish widescreen video from other sources to fit it's 4 by 3 screen format.
WSAZ will go widescreen in due time and you will be sick of the promos for the technical
change because they will get more time on the air than the news.
Remember the promo blitz for the vidcam (Akai vts-150, I think), and the TK-76?
Every time they get a new weather add-on module there is a branding effort to
make you think it is exclusive to WSAZ. The weather mobile was an SUV with a
weather logo and an anemometer on it. Now the heavy promotion is "anything internet.
It will be interesting to see what changes WSAZ will make when the new equipment is installed.
