While he waited to be rescued for 65 hours beneath six floors of rubble from his Port-au-Prince, Haiti, hotel, American filmmaker Dan Woolley began to write goodbye notes to his two young sons.
Woolley said he used a first-aid app on his iPhone to treat a compound fracture in his leg and a wound to his head, and used his digital SLR camera's light to see what was around him.
