Has Anyone Else Noticed This Spot???

The new Mini Cooper radio ads that talk about "would you give money to a radio fundraiser to keep quality programming on the air".

It then goes on to contain the line: "Well, this isn't quality programming and this isn't a fundraiser".

Now I know that they are (hopefully) talking about THEIR COMMERCIAL in their commercial, but every time I hear it I think "What station am I listening to?" when they utter the line that "this isn't quality programming".

I would have a hard time airing that spot...

Then, I'd be overruled by the sales manager.


Then, I'd air it anyway.

I love that spot. Just the kind of smart ass stuff my station does with the imaging already. I guess it wouldn't work as well for gay formats.

"Not Quality Broadcasting" doesn't aptly describe the poor quality of my show. It is more of an "Broadcast Abomination."
