Last Windjammer post-honest!

I contacted Windjammer yesterday to alert them to the continued loss of three networks and a couple other stations (WDTV and the continued loss of Channel 9, even after we were told many weeks ago that a tech had restored WTOV). I got the lady's message today. She was decidedly less chipper than her earlier message, and she quite curtly informed us that Windjammer was no longer serving Friendly, having been sold to Vital Communications. She left no contact number-after googling, we got the number 1-304-247-6231. Does anyone know if this number is correct?

It's really a shame how a company can treat its customers in such a shabby manner. Our last bill said they were in the process of selling, which we already knew, but we've not been given the courtesy of any printed materials stating Vital's plans for this system.

It's really a moot point-after clearing a couple of unforseen expenses, we'll have an antenna raising this week or next. The few OTA locals we receive are virtually unwatchable. The audio on Discovery is usually muted. There's no reason to stay with cable anymore. I don't know why any cable company would want this aberration, nor can I understand how they could entice their former subscribers to sign up.

I was going to post some information here, but I decided to send you a PM instead.

Vital acquired all of Windjammer's systems in WV except for a small system in Prichard, which may eventually sell to Lycom or possibly Comcast. The last contact I had with Vital, they still intended to "fix" the problems with these systems that Windjammer had planned to shut.
