Kallie Card & the story she had tonight

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Kallie Card & the story she had tonight

Post by Bar Rat »

No, I'm not beating up WSAZ. It's a question.

Why does she seem like she's screaming her head off when she's doing a VO of a story? I have to turn down the TV when she's on. She seems louder than any of their other reporters.

And what kind of tower is this that someone is putting up in S. Charleston that's causing the problem... a 75 footer that's going to be a religious broadcaster on AM. I didn't hear about this new station showing up.

Couldn't be the Baptists. There wouldn't be a peep of protest then.
St. Paul Radio Co. (The Catholics) was granted a construction-permit for 1kw fulltime on 1450 (WLUX).
The station is a triplex with WVTS/WBES.
STL maybe?
Did SCW break-away from 100 Kanawha Terrace?

The Stultz Pharmacy Christmas commerical on this-morning's newscast webstream was a nice-reminder of the hollidays, though.
