Flagship Films, a new production company started by veteran producers Alison Semenza and Todd Moyer has announced their first film project, Weapon. Weapon will see the first on screen collaboration of Steven Segal and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Weapon is the story of the two best assassins in the world, Jack Conway (a master sharpshooter played by Steven Seagal) and Derek Chase (equally skilled with a knife, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme). Both men are unknown to each other, but end up in an uneasy alliance to dismantle the head of a drug cartel, one that is controlled by the DEA.

Principal photography will begin in July of this year, and will take place in Vancouver and New Mexico. A director should be announced in the next few weeks.
