Arbitron Under Siege? Nielsen's new small-market ratings

It's always better having competition in ratings. If nothing else it helps keep them honest. I do wish the services would get more serious about doing away with diaries in the smaller markets.

I've always thought that Arbitron, intentionally or not, end up being biased for their subscribers in the small markets. Did WTCR REALLY ever have a 35+ share of this market? Funny how things evened out quickly after Commodore bought Adventure (this was pre CrapStar/Cheap Channel) and WKEE-FM was also a subscriber.
