Let me be the first to violate it: I believe islam is NOT a legitimate religion but the latest incarnation of the genocidal nazi movement. Sooner or later it's going to have to be dealt with in the same manner in which we rid the world of Nazism as a political force: It's defeat in battle and it's outlawing. Islamists bomb innocents, beheads those who don't believe in their genocidal fascist death cult, and "honor kills" women for wanting to choose whom they will marry. It is a cult of death, violence, and tyranny, not a religion of peace.

You really ought to go visit the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center in Berlin, Ohio (online at http://www.behalt.com) and learn about the long and brutal history of the Anabaptists’ movement that began in Switzerland in the early 1500s. You'd learn that Catholic and Lutheran churches ruthlessly hunted down and killed religious dissenters because of their faith.

I hate religious intolerance. But honestly, some religions are more intolerant than others, and must be dealt with at the times when they infringe upon the rights of others.

The difference between radical Islam and these medieval Christian sects is that the vast majority of Christianity evolved during the "Enlightenment" period and stopped doing those horrific acts towards others who did not agree with them.

Radical Islam hasn't left the 7th century mentality, where "face in the dirt and sword on the back of your neck" conversions are still common.

I'm still hawkish when it comes to radical terrorism. Usually the only thing we can do is blow them up before they hit us.
