FINALLY! Google Maps Street View!

I've been waiting 2 years of more for Google to video map Charleston. FINALLY they have and it's up and running. It appears that the video was shot close to two years ago. To see Charleston and many surrounding cities, just click on Google and then MAPS. Zoom-in and then click on the little yellow man in the upper left hand corner. They even video-mapped MAN WV!

They've got video for all of I-79 and an eclectic collection of state and US highways out in the boonies. My workplace made it as well.

Funny thing is, that guy is a friend of mine and my best friends son. He was taking food to his dad, and does so every Tuesday. This is how we dated the photo. (at least the day of the week).

My guess is August 2007. I traded my old car (which is in my driveway in the photo) in September 2007 and the house next door to me is gone (bought the house and demolished it in July 2007).
