I'm not a WVU fan by any stretch of the imagination (I'd like to see Morgantown burn in a couch fire), and I don't like Notre Lame much either, but... DAMN, that was great to see. I'd love to see them run Dick out of town.

I might actually have to root for Ohio State this year.

Way to go Notre Dame. With their easier-than-normal schedule this year, they may find themselves in a mid-tier ball game.

I was privileged to once again announce for our school's Band-A-Rama on Saturday. The highlight came when one of the judges (who hails from Morgantown) received the final score on his cell, and I shared that info with a highly-receptive audience. Few tears were shed, except perhaps from uncontrollable laughter.

I have to give it to OSU fans. They take football very seriously. I was in Cincinnati Saturday night. The hotel we stayed at has a big area off the lobby where folks can gather around several TV monitors and sip on cocktails, etc. It was packed with people in OSU attire during the game Saturday. I also went over to the local BW2s for some takeout. Again packed with OSU fans. The UNO's out back, also packed with OSU fans.

I am glad I was getting takeout.
