Jim Hardman former WV radio owner passed away May 1st

Sad to report that Jim Hardman, former owner of WAFD-FM Webster Springs and
WVAR-AM Richwood passed away suddenly on Thursday May 1st.
No details have been announced. Jim built WAFD in 1996 and operated it
as well as WVAR till he sold them in March 2007 to Summit Media.

Jim goes back to the early days of WVAR on air and in sales, he also worked in
the Buckhannon area for many years. Jim also owned 93.3 in Montgomery for
a few years.
