On Thursday night, a truck nearly took out two women and their babies in a front yard in Huntington, and that's only part of a wild story that continues to get more bizarre as the info comes in.

Police tell us the driver of the truck was involved in a separate wreck a few minutes earlier, just a few blocks away. Then, we learned that a motorcycle smashed into the front yard wreckage. And who was on the motorcycle? According to police, it was the truck driver. The family in the yard is just happy to be alive.

A tractor minus its trailer, but still obviously very heavy, ended up the Lowe family's front yard in Guyandotte.


In fact, the truck ended up right next to the bird feeder, inches away from the front porch where Heather Lowe's twin sister, Jennifer, was sitting with other family members, including two babies.

They're also lucky the telephone pole in front of their house was in the way to slow the truck down. The other fortunate part was that no electric lines were on the pole.

Police tell us they found a pocket full of pills on the truck driver, Hurschel Hagley III, after he wrecked the motorcycle. There were no pills found after either of the first two wrecks. He's now in jail.

In another strange twist, two blocks away, police responded to yet another scene in which, according to witnesses, a man in a penguin costume waved down and distracted drivers causing a three car accident. All of this happened within a few blocks, and all in the same night
