Here's an interesting idea I just thought of (meaning I stole it).
Okay, the corporations can spend as much as they like, because, as the thinking goes, they should be treated like regular people, citizens like you and me.
So, if that is true, shouldn't they then be allowed to vote?
If they deserve first Amendment rights, don't they deserve other rights?

Well, the Supreme Court ruling striking down McCain/Feingold says corporations have the same rights as individuals when contributing to campaigns, regardless of where they are based. So if Bank of China wants to donate a billion dollars to a campaign or spend it on partisan ads, they can. Why not let them vote?

Technically speaking, if every American of voting age put nearly as much TIME AND MONEY into their politics as they do their sports, we wouldn't give a damned WHAT the corporations did. The apathetic voter let the corporations... and the liberals.. and the conservatives... and the special interests... and everyone else run the country.
