HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Former WSAZ talk show host and weather person DJ has passed away.
Her real name is Dorothy Jean Schroeder, however everyone in the tri-state area knew her as DJ.
She was on the old talk show "Coffee Time."
DJ also did weather alongside anchors like Bob Brunner, Bos Johnson and Bob Bowen.
DJ attracted viewers with her beauty and silly sense of humor.
She was one of the pioneers of early television in our region.
DJ passed away in Huntington. She was living in a retirement community.

Her last name was Schroeder.
At least the HHD spelled it correctly.
