Nope, you're not riding the monorail at Walt Disney World. Your actually standing beside all exit doors at WSAZ, and boy are they busy these days.

On Friday, long time reporter/anchor Jessica Ralston submitted her walking papers. Shes heading to the land of country music and the new Antiques Archaeology shop, Nashville, TN. Today reporter Lauren Schmoll informed all that she was heading out. No longer were the words clear of her mouth when 10 PM producer Gail Locascio headed for the parking lot as well.

Over the past few weeks around nine staffers have left the station. Will it soon be amateur hour at the region's news leader?

WSAZ-TV, the dominant #1 station in Charleston-Huntington, WV, is looking for a main weekday anchor/reporter. We are seeking a dynamic journalist who’s passionate about developing contacts and breaking stories. Excellent anchoring and storytelling skills are a must.

Why people mess with what works is a mystery to me. One would expect this track meet to be occurring elsewhere. Get a bunch of people barely making minimum wage, while trying to pay off ever-growing college debt, then sacrificing time from families (or looking for significant others), at times becoming a one-man (person) band to cover all of your duties. Yep, definitely a formula that's working for someone...like the stockholders.

Holy crap.

In some cases, the personality of the station can be inferred by observing the station website.
You might remember, some time ago on wchs-web, Patrick McMurphy had some problems
and his name and picture descended to the bottom of the bios list on the web.
Apparently he fell from favor and it was demonstrated in that way.
Shortly after comments here, the website was no longer used as a pecking order by wchs.
That said, Lauren Schmoll has already vanished from WSAZ web site.
I am not NSA so I may be reading too much into this.
