Filling in for Tom Roten on WVHU 800 AM. Roten had been saying all week he'd be off today and they had a 'special surprise' guest host who's a Golden Horseshoe winner to fill in on WV Day.
Cornwell sounded good and professional as always. I don't know what he did in 6-7 AM hour. In the 7-8 AM he spotlighted Wayne County and had guests on including a church food pantry director who's been on a walking trip covering all 55 counties to raise awareness of the hunger situation in the state.
Roten will be off again tomorrow so WVHU's broadcast quality will remain higher than normal at least that long....
