#6 Let not forget, "Correctly" made Chicago Dogs with all the Vienna products. Where ever you can get them.

After 12 days, WRSG is FINALLY on the air! I feel badly because this could have been our shining moment IF we had obtained a generator. We'll have to do due diligence to get the best one we can fund, perhaps from an in-county grant. A 'mover and shaker' in the county has already asked what he can do, so I put him on the trail. It was heartening AND also frustrating to hear that people really missed our station. We can NOT let them down again!

The vast majority of Tyler Countians are probably now with power, but many folks are still getting water because their wells have run dry. Also, because our people are so spread out, the repairs are much-more labor intensive than if the utility workers were laboring in much-more populated areas.

A family with ties to Washington County in Ohio picked up supplies this morning. People from outlying counties are coming to Tyler County because their OEM directors seemingly aren't as organized as is Mr. Tom Cooper, who is running on fumes at this point. He spoke to a Manchin rep today (yes, the senator's nephew) as well as FEMA people. He's been on the phone constantly to anyone with any authority to keep the aid coming. So many people in outlying areas have been left with nothing. Hopefully their nightmare ends soon. In the meantime, the volunteers will stay until the supplies run out, or the need ends...whichever comes first.

We can't thank the utility workers enough. Their task was nothing short of herculean, dealing with some of the most-remote areas one can imagine. Folks are now being advised to report structure damages, in the thin hope that FEMA will fund repairs.
