WVVA Bluefiled-Beckley HD news

WVVA NBC Bluefiled-Beckley-Oak Hill market has been promoting their upcoming construction for their HD studios for news over the past couple of weeks. They will join WOAY ABC in the market having HD news..... as we wait, and wait, and wait, and wait for WVNS CBS FOX to join the HD world. (sometimes I wonder if the WV media network will just start broadcasting everything statewide from their HD Charleston location- but don't get me started there as it is hard for me to think of WHTN/WOWK being anywhere but Huntington- oh we'll!).

ALSO
WVVA still has a construction permit for a translator on the same Mann mountain location as WSWP PBS Beckley.... This is to cover the Beckley side of the market with a stonger signal... Wonder if they still plan to go through with the added transmitter as they are on area cable, DirecTV, and Dish?
