The latest departure at WSAZ to report: Chris Bailey is heading back to Lexington to take over as chief metorologist at WKYT.
Jessica teased it on her Facebook page late tonight: "A coveted member of the WSAZ/myZ team is leaving. We'll make the official announcement tomorrow..." Bailey's posted the news to her personal site, and WKYT apparently announced it tonight.
Noticed a new WSAZ Weather promo today featuring everyone but Chris. Now I know why.

Guess the "wife wanting to live near mom" was a cover story.
Maybe the departing chief met at 'KYT was difficult to get along with.

Back at WKYT. Went to school with Chris. He's a good guy and a lot less "we are gonna die..first alert radar says so" than TG.
