Rep's Rock And Roll Repository: The 1970's

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Geordi obviously sounds like ACDC. But this tune also reminded me of the style of the Rez Band, Glenn and Wendy Kaiser, which I had the opportunity to see live a couple times. I think the Rez album album Silence Screams was one of the best rock albums of all time, however few would remember the Rez Band.

The Geordie comment was made because Brian Johnson was the lead singer prior to his AC/DC days...

Good lord. I have Lake's first 2 albums and must confess I got the first one because I thought it meant Greg Lake.
Trivia, Nantucket is a band from Raleigh (they're still playing around here) signed to Atlantic Records by a guy I've known since he was 16 setting up my drums in a band I was in. He went on to work in radio for several years before getting into record promotion and A&R.

You know, you don't have to read every thread, as that's my job. Change the channel, turn the dial, etc.

If you add any more more YouTubes, people with slower connections will lock up. I'm on very high speed and it wants to lock now.
