As one of the founders of Bridge Day, with 23 jumps off the bridge, I can assure you that it's not a carnival ride.

Having said that.... now here's YOUR chance:

Bridge Day 2011

TandemBASE and Vertical Visions are excited to announce the availability of 10 (ten) TandemBASE jump slots for Bridge Day 2011. Available for the first time in Bridge Day’s 32 year history, people with no prior jump experience will be able to make a BASE jump while attached to a highly experienced jump professional.

I think it would be WAY COOL to have some local personality jump!

Seriously, though. I would just like to make it to a bridge day. I have tried every year to go and something always comes up. Hopefully, this will be the year.

The good news is I will be in San Francisco that weekend so I have an excuse to not try this stunt.

Hmmm........

On second thought, that weekend involves my in-laws so I might want to jump without a chute or a bungee cord.

Somethings not right about that story. How could a TRUE quadriplegic ride a motorcycle? If that's possible, then skydiving would be a piece of cake.
