A Little Thing That Gets More Annoying Each Week

Maybe I'm the only one who cares about this, but.....

On Saturday mornings I listen to ESPN Radio on WCMI, since WRVC-AM runs 'Big Bands And More' from 7-10 AM. From February of 2009 until the end of 2010, the ESPN Radio Saturday morning host was Eric Kuselias. He left ESPN to work at the Golf Channel and now ESPN has Jeremy Schaap's 'The Sporting Life' and the John Kincade show in the 7-10 time period.

Coming out of commercials on Kincade's show (8-10), WCMI is still running this which was recorded by Kuselias: 'The SportsBash weekdays at 4 on 1340 WCMI'.

The SportsBash hasn't been on for years. Kuselias gave it up in January 2007 when he was made the host of 'NASCAR Now' on ESPN2. It was replaced by a show hosted by Stephen A. Smith, then a show called 'SportsNation' and now the 'Doug Gottlieb Show' in the 4 PM time slot. I could understand a little bit that they ran the Kuselias promo because it was in his voice, but he's been gone from ESPN for over 2 months.

I know it's a little thing but I still shake my head and chuckle at least once every Saturday morning.

You still have liners on WAJR-AM voiced by "Big"/Jim stating that the station is able to be heard on "Adelphia Cable Channel 3". Same deal...

PS: Who is the guy that voices the video spot (WV Junior College) on the WAJR.com site that pops up before the actual stream begins? Sounds exactly like Jack Bivens. But I know it's not him. He's dead. Let me know...
