Here's a photo, which I think is interesting, showing the studio of WOAY-TV in the 1950s. A camera, rather than a scanner, was used to create the image. Click on ACTIONS to view a larger size. I know it's a long shot, but the contributor of the photo is hoping for some information about the people in the photo, one of whom is her father.

Most stations stenciled their call letters on the lights.
I am old. In the preceding pictures, I could identify a lot of the rack mounted stuff, from the back.
