The Saga of Ginny West - Chapter 6

[Know It All]

Know It All loves old westerns. Written correctly, the author can place a reader right in the midst of the gunfight outside the saloon. The dust, the gunpowder, the groans of the dying. Thats why I love The Saga of Ginny West so. Well, the Cliff Notes version anyway. Lets turn to chapter 6, shall we?

You may recall that in chapter 5 our villian had worn out her welcome at the Connoisseur Corral and had headed on down to Fourth Avenue to blast some country. Ginny was riding around, raising hell, getting Rod Willis demoted and generally scaring the residents of Dawgtown. Well, in chapter 6 the terror continues. The problem is, this time Chuck Black is frightened and is cowered down behind the horse trough trying to dodge the random shots that Six Gun Ginny is firing. This place is dangerous!

Knowing the history, Chuck is praying for his life. The first shot had Ginny running round Dawgtown claiming Chuck was lazy. The second shot just missed Chuck as Ginny claimed she was doing all the work and he had to go.

As chapter 6 comes to a close the villian is still on the loose. Chuck is scared and Sheriff Kirtner is holed up in his office.

I don't know about you but Know It All is quivering waiting to see how this chapter ends....
