If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Job Opening

Post by Dave Allen »

WVOW Radio in Logan has an immediate opening for an experienced full time on-air announcer. Strong production and writing skills are required. We are locally owned and operated and the person we hire should be prepared to do a little of everything, from news to production, remotes, public appearences, Internet skills, etc. Benefits are available and salary will be based on experience. Airchecks, resumes, etc can be sent to Dave Allen, OM/PD. E-mail to daveinthemorningwvow@yahoo.com or mail to WVOW Box 1776 Logan, WV 25601.

That may well be the first serious post I have ever put up.

Staff meetings? Jay and I go to BJ's in Logan...crack open a few Miller Lite's and say....life is good. End of staff meeting. No, I don't have wing tips or a tie, but I do have a briefcase.

If for no other reason, Cameron, you should take the job just to see both Nunley and me wearing dress pants. Not the same pair, BTW.

Hey, we like remotes, what can we say? In the final two weeks of the year I did 9 remotes in 10 days.

Monday-Anderson's
Tuesday-Go-Mart
Wednesday-Save A Lot
Thursday-Anderson's
Monday-Mike Ferrell Toyota
Tuesday-Thornhill Ford
Wednesday-Thornhill GM
Thursday-Thornhill Factory Outlet
Friday-Fast Lane

Hey, somebody has to work to pay Nunley's salary.
