Country music is like pretty much every other kind of music, a lot shittier today than it was prior to the early 90's.

Of course, I've never been a country fan and never WILL be, though I do like the classics (Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, as well as old school bluegrass such as Bill Monroe etc.)

I still think this market could easily afford to lose a country station or two, though it is interesting that music is returning to AM of all places.

Yeah, been forced to listen to morning AM drive radio in Huntington this week... The Sirius receiver in my brand new, not even 3 months old Ford died on me. It's over at Turnpike Ford being repaired now though

That sums up morning drive radio in Huntington. It's awful. It's a disgrace actually. Why do morning DJ's make more money than the others? I can't see why...

I got my car back but they had to order a replacement radio+Sirius receiver. Bummer. I'll just listen to Van Halen "1984" in the CD player (which I haven't used yet) tomorrow. I also can use my IPhone 4 to stream Sirius though, so I am NOT completely without it
