Does anyone remember "One night in Saltrock"?

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Does anyone remember "One night in Saltrock"?

Post by CoolBreeze »

Years ago I understand that some DJ in Huntington did a parody of "One night in Bangkok", but changed the words to "One night in Saltrock" (just outside of Huntington).

Does anyone remember who that was and especially the lyrics?

Clint McEllory at WKEE. Not sure if Steve Hayes was in on that one or not.

I've got a Steve & Clint cassette of some of their bits somewhere at home - if I find it I'll see if that song is on it.

I'd love to hear some of the old Ducky Crabtree bits again :)

I think I have some of the Ducky Crabtree stuff in my dad old tapes. I got stuck with the nick name Ducky in Jr High when people found out my Dad was the inspiration for the Ducky Crabtree name. Lets me see if i can find the open reel player
