Speculation on CC

Post by Bar Rat »

Just a thought. Who will run the Huntington AM stations now?

Elliott as an additional duty (he did a lot of it anyway)?

Roten? Or when does Tom get cut.

My best guess is some sort of satellite feed will run it...

Roten probably will be the next to go. I don't see CC keeping ANYTHING local on an AM station when the FM's are now mostly slammed from the bird/voice tracked from Timbuktu. It is hilarious when they do drop ins on the AM from their out of market hubs, they mispronounce local names a LOT...

BTW, I didn't mention this in the other thread, but getting rid of Paul Swann was a mistake. I am biased, I like the guy and consider him a friend, he never was anything but nice to me when he had no reason to. I hate to see this happen for anyone, especially in this economy, by far the worst since my youth (Jimmy Carter years) much less to someone who definitely did his job competently. His sports show ran rings around the "Marshall excuse line" on the pathetic excuse for a radio station that 930/94.1 WRVC are...

Hell, I'm worried every day about losing my job. Especially since so much depends on the Great White Elephant performing (ie: the paper that is Clear Channel's news operation, the one they read from). I guess if worst comes to worst I can clean spyware off PC's for food if I have to...

(I now use Apple myself)
