What is it you ask? Well, lets me tell ya...

Ever since I posted the album cover for Mott The Hoople's "Live" over to the right here as my avatar photo, the idea has been going through my head to do a series of covers...and it has blossomed into this:

During 2011 I will change my avatar on Monday of every week and showcase a new album. Thus, by the end of the year, you all will have seen the cover of and read my short, encapsulated review of what I feel are the "50 Greatest Albums Of All Time".

There, you have it.

Plan was for one thread, updated at the beginning of the week when the cover changes. Each week begins with my post of the LP featured, followed by the comments of board members concerning the LP featured. Start of the next week, new cover, new post, new comments.

Although I believe if the artist of the LP is dead or a group member has passed away, we can do some cross-promotion linking with the "dead thread"...

Talked to "Girl In The Box" this morning, by the way. She is alive and well.

Anyway, back to the album thread thing: I've already written some of the reviews. I'll list artist, title, Top Tracks and then a 7-10 sentence description...often tying it in to local radio or events...
