I have been watching England's "TOP GEAR" for years now. I think that it is without a doubt the most entertaining show in the world.... that is if you love cars. The 3 personalities on the English version are perfect.
Naturally, due to the worldwide popularity of TOP GEAR, we now have a weak-kneed American version on The History Channel.
IT SUCKS!
Where did they get those 3 guys... from the bad actors unemployment line? This cheap copy is so stinko that I'm embarrassed for the History Channel. This "might" be a good show someday, but they'll have to unload those dorks.
Top Gear... English yes. American no.

I agree 100%. I have been watching the British version, and find it to be almost perfect TV. This is the same thing they did with Iron Chef. The Japanese version was about the culture, the area the chef came from, exotic ingredients, and honor. The American show gets right to the cooking with litle to no background on the guest chef and loads of ego. CRAP, but not as bad as the three idiots on American Top Gear. It's a shame too, because it would be nice to see what Top Gear does with some American muscle...minus the gayness.
