Was that pix on wsaz about the collapse of the Aracoma Hotel from you?

Yep. Train derailment three miles from my house and a building collapse across the street from where I work. Either God wants me to be in the news business in a bad way or wants me to leave Logan County. I'm not sure which.

I actually got to hear Mr. Nunley on Metronews this morning. My life is now .00871 percent completer.
I was a tad disappointed, though. He sounded normal.

To my trained ear he was sitting naked in a lawn chair while eating chili and watermelon while a mixed drink with an umbrella in it sat on a round, glass-top table at his side. His faithful dog, Laddie, lay at his feet while the phone he did the interview on rested up against the side of his tanned face...gently touching the frame of his top of the line Oakley frames.

Sorry about disappointing you. You will have to believe me when I say I'm still fighting muscle memory and instinct every day when I report things straight without turning it into a bit or making a smartass comment. Being normal and serious is totally unnatural for me.
You have great ears. You got it almost exactly right. It was honeydew instead of watermelon and the drink was straight Maker's Mark.
