I thought they tore the thing down last year.
What corner was the hotel on.
Across from the courthouse on the downriver side?

Gen, you are thinking of the old Pioneer Hotel which they did tear down and are building a huge state office building on that spot. Complete photos of the fire are at www.wvowradio.com

OK, across the street from Harris funeral home and where the Sears store used to be.
Now a music store, I think, Radio Station was upstairs and the draft board too.

Radio station is still on the second floor of the Sears Building, across from the hotel. Don Elkins music was next door to us but closed last year. Harris is now called Honaker Funeral Home.
