Based on applications filed in January 2004 and November 2005, the FCC granted this station a construction permit on October 25, 2007, to change broadcast frequencies from 1470 kHz to 1200 kHz, increase daytime signal power to 22,000 watts, change critical hours signal power to 8,000 watts, and decrease nighttime signal power to just 9 watts.[20][21] The low nighttime power is required to protect the signal of clear channel AM WOAI in San Antonio, Texas, which also broadcasts at 1200 kHz. The station's transmitter will remain at its current location and the station will remain licensed to Huntington.[20] This construction permit is scheduled to expire on October 25, 2010
It's from the bird...a service very similar to the old Stardust format. Local drop ins only for station ID. I haven't even heard weather or the first local ad. I have heard very long sets of national ads on occasion.
Levels are low for local inserts and I can detect some distortion on the sat feed peaks.
At least they are playing something other than country or the "devil's music".

How ironic that when Morterson brought 1470 from Clear Channel several years ago they took this format off and replaced it with classic gospel. That format skewed so old that most of the audience died off.. They should have
left Adult Standards on and they wouldn't have to spend the next year trying to build listenership.
