I met Tom and his wife a few months ago at the Lawrence Co. Airport, where my wife is taking flying lessons and Tom has a Cessna Cardinal. I didn't recognize him and must not have heard his last name then, but yesterday we were talking and I realized from the sound of his voice that he was the former weatherman at channels 13 and 3. Tom said he also worked in radio at the former WSAZ radio. He left channel 13 in the 70's and went to WCPO-TV where he worked with the legendary Al Schottelkotte. He went on to work at TV stations in Denver and Dallas before returning to the Huntingon market and working for a while at channel 3.
I told Tom about this board - maybe he'll participate. It was great to talk to him and hear about some of his experiences....

I worked with Tom at WOWK when he was there. I haven't seen him much since then. I think I saw him when he returned this time, but I thought he did some work for WOWK this time? At my age the memory is one of the first things to go. Glad he is still in the area. Come on Tom get on the board
