This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

From the jokes write themselves department....

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Pickup trucks are popular among thieves in West Virginia.

The National Crime Insurance Bureau's latest "Hot Wheels'' report shows three of the top 10 vehicles stolen in West Virginia last year were pickup trucks.

The 1995 Ford F-150 topped the list.

It was followed by the 1994 Chevrolet full size pickup, 1998 Ford Ranger, 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier, 2007 Dodge Ram, 1995 Ford Taurus, 1998 Chevrolet S-10, 2004 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee, 1994 Ford Explorer and the 1999 Dodge Caravan.

I have a '94 F-150 that ya'll can have...crap...

I had it sitting in my driveway loaded full of brush, windows down and doors unlocked for over a week...the thieves in my 'hood knew better...too bad, I wouldn't mind having more room to park my other junk.

Does this suggest that West Virginians would rather get Time for Clunkers than Cash for Clunkers?

No imports on the list?

Nationally, the Honda Civic/Accord has been the top theft target for years.

Guess nobody around here wants that old foreign stuff that you can't work on without 5 computers and an Asian guy.
