Just Wonderin'...

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

It resembled it at times!

I did have three slices of bacon during my first night's meal (Perkins, 10:00pm, nothing else within easy walking distance) and it was GREAT! It was what we refer to as "Canadian Bacon", but they just call it "bacon" or "peameal bacon".

I was there for a Hot Wheels Convention. I'll throw some pics up later and tell the story about my room upgrade. WOW!

Get any of the 222s up there? That's aspirin with codeine for the uninformed, which is available without a prescription in Canada.

NOW YOU TELL ME!

Anyway, codeine doesn't even affect me in the least. I was given heavy doses of it during my "Summer Of Bronchitis" in 1991, along with a glucose based cough suppressant that had nothing more than sugar in it. Well, I began taking them simultaneously and basically got higher than a kite with each spoonful every four hours. After two weeks, the codeine based one ended and I had to take the sugar based one another two weeks by itself. As soon as I got off of the codeine one, my "high" increased by about 50%...it was the sugar based medicine that should have been as intoxicating as Kool-Aid that was shnockering me and not the codeine!
