When I was young and the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta was in full swing, the main Sternwheel races were always fixed. The reason for this was that there was one boat SO powerful, it simply couldnt be beat in the many years it "raced". This boat would have pulled away so fast and so far ahead of it's competition, that the race fans would have been bored to tears year after year. So to give fans something to watch, the race was always fixed so that the boats were always neck and neck until the last 200 yards. (The smaller boat would sometimes win to make it look good however)
This WVU Marshall game is the same thing I believe. Allow the little underdogs to score, then come back in a big way to win the game. Otherwise the fans wouldn't even care to watch the game.
Will that happen? I would bet yes....

I don't believe what I'm seeing. I've never watched a game of anything in my life, but I'm watching this tonight simply due to my disdain for WVU. I would give anything to see Marshall beat WVU just once before I die.
