Great song but good luck on it getting any terrestrial airplay.

Proof that we're going back to the dark ages in Africa.

I saw Cee-Lo Green open for Ludacris in Jacksonville in March 2003. Most memorable about his performance was him getting mad at the crowd for not responding the way he hoped they would. As I wrote at the time:
"His opener, Cee-Lo Green, wasn't quite able to get the crowd going (and Cee-Lo seemed rather pissed about this, too.) But when Luda and his crew came out, the place exploded."

Since then he reached international fame with the smash hit "Crazy" as part of Gnarls Barkley and now has this new single, destined to be an internet and club hit but a colossal challenge for any programmer hoping to work it into CHR airplay. Even in safe harbor (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) this would be a tough one to get the brass to approve, and I don't believe there is (or even could effectively be) a radio edit for it.

I finally heard the radio edit of the renamed "Forget You" today... and I was not impressed. It's just not the same.Lester wrote:Wifey-poo heard it on Serious Hits 1 today... radio edit... She has declared it horrible.
For what it's worth, there is an official video now for the censored and uncensored version of the song now, neither of which are nearly as good as the original video that just had the words.
